Hello! I am Rachel Dexheimer, founder of EquiSpire Coaching. I am a Registered Counselor and a Transformative Coach. My focus is on helping you connect with your passion and thrive through change. I support you in both personal and professional growth, while specializing in developing authentic communication and leadership / followership skills needed at all stages of life.

I am a highly accomplished professional with 18+ years of progressive line management roles. I have diverse experience managing and developing people, as well as implementing technology solutions for Fortune 500 Companies. I am recognized as an innovative leader and executor. I also have strong skills in organizational leadership, project delivery, sales pursuits and process designing.

I set the bar for creating and managing strong global, cross cultural and cross functional teams that adapt and excel in an ever changing market. I have lived abroad and interfaced with all levels of management to solve complex business problems. I have worked in a wide range of industries from package delivery and retail to education, IP telephony, technology development, and Human Resource Outsourcing.

My passion for the past 26 years has been building relationships with horses. Whether riding, coaching, or spending time caring for them, we learn with one another; from those moments come my most profound lessons and awarenesses. As such, horses have become a part of the way I experience the world.

I have studied multiple coaching theories and combine those with my in-depth knowledge of human behavior, experience in the public and private sectors and my equine insights, to provide a profoundly unique perspective. I am currently completing:

Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale

Professional Coaching Certificate from Antioch University

Equine Guided Education Certification

I am a member of many professional organizations including the International Coach Federation, and the Equine Guided Education Association. I have attended numerous workshops and supplementary training in leadership, organizational design and change management.
